Matcha Green Tea Stimulates Hair Follicles

According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, a 2007 study by Korean scientists at the Seoul National University College of Medicine found that epigallocatechin-3-gallat, or EGCG, present in green tea promoted growth of hair follicles and stimulated the human dermal papilla cells to boost hair production.

The study notes that green tea may have potential to inhibit 5-alpha-reductase, the scalp pathway that converts testosterone to DHT and leads to hair loss.

The Medical College at Georgia reports that green tea holds potential for treatment of dandruff and excess scalp flaking. Green tea is believed to exfoliate the dry flakes that are formed as a result of dandruff. Dandruff is a very common scalp condition and although further research still needs to be conducted, green tea may be effective for treating dandruff.

It also contains unique amino acids called theanine. This amino acid along with panthenol work to strengthen the hair shaft and help prevent split ends.

Keratin is a fibrous protein that provides the base building blocks and structure for hair, skin and nails. Keratin is actually a compound and depends on adequate Organic Sulfur to create strong di-sulfide bonds that makes stronger keratin compounds and fibers.

Freshly made to order.

After washing your hair, with your favourite shampoo, or  with one of Pretty Cat shampoo bars, wet the conditioner bar, glide the bar gently all over your hair, spreading the conditioner through the full length of your hair and leave on your hair for few minutes or longer(for best result), enjoying the smell .

Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, repeat, if needed.

 

Could also be used as leave-in conditioner- in very small amounts.

In this case put a little bit of wet conditioner to your hands and spread on towel-dried hair- style as usual.

 

To use as a hair mask for deep conditioning - apply to wet hair and leave on your hair for about 30 to 60 minutes.

Rinse well and style as usual.
